Possibilities of using television programmes and shows in practical activities at the first grade of primary school

This thesis deals with the topic of the use of television programmes and shows in the teaching of practical activities at the first grade of primary school. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of a pupil of the younger school age, inquiry-based instruction and teaching, and the goals and concepts of primary technical literacy. The preparatory studies also discuss the technical areas of the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education, the cross-cutting theme of Media Education and characterise selected television educational programmes and shows. In the practical part, there are five themes which are processed, including didactic documentation, into the form of original preparations for teaching at the first grade of primary school. The effectiveness of some of the themes has been verified.

In the theoretical part, first of all, I am mapping out the framework education programs for pre-school and basic education and the charakterizuji environmental education and its interconnections with practical activities. The aim of the practical part of the drafting and realisation of a minor part of the project, focusing on environmental education. The project was primarily to provide children the opportunity to get acquainted with some methods such as observation, the use of the results for other activities, exploring the connection between different phenomena in nature, get to know the environment in which they live and to obtain a positive relationship to him. Overall, it was aimed to promote the development of the child as a personality-oriented proenvironmentaly. The Growing Education at the Selected Elementary Schools

This diploma thesis deals with teaching growing at primary schools. In the teoretical part the subject growing is charakterized and there is a brief history of teaching this practical subject. Furthermore, attention is paid to the current representation of growing in school education programs, there is an overview of expected outcomes and content of the subject matter of this course and possibilities of application of cross-curricular themes and interdisciplinary relations within it. At the end of the theoretical part there are spatial possibilities for teaching this subject, possibilities of innovation of subject and its link with food sovereignty and the use of local food. The practical part firstly answering the basic research question: How is the teaching of the subject of cultivation work in selected primary schools? The characteristics of each school are described, the hourly subsidies and forms of teaching of this subject, the equipment of the school for the teaching of the course, and the current, interesting and unconventional methods that can serve as examples of good practice of teaching Cultivation works. Education for girls with Rett syndrome

The aim of this work is to enable a person to perceive and understand the specific features of behaviour of girls having Rett syndrome and to offer effective options for activities and effort in the process of education. The substance of the collection of suggestions and proposals for actions and activities as well as tools and equipment sorted according to equipment and objects used at a special needs education primary school. Practical advice, recommendations and suggestions are based on theoretical grounds and basis, particular examples or photo documentation. The work is founded on study cases of two girls with Rett syndrome where there are not only the girls' results and evaluations in the educational process described but also the personal stories of their families and different way of dealing with the tough life situations. The work results enable to discover a suitable attitude not only towards the girls but as well to their parents, siblings or classmates. Ing Jitka Vodáková, CSc. Abstract: The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze experiential education and its role in pre-school education. The aim is to demonstrate on particular examples the positive influence experiential education has on child's personality development between the age of 3 and 7. The thesis explains general principles used in experiential education such as motivation, rules, evaluation of the process, psychological aspects, and teachers' training. The analysis reflects the historical context which led to the development of experiential education. Additionally, it draws upon scientific knowledge about child's development; namely, personality and social development, speech development, and development of perceptional, cognitive, and motor skills. Practical works with technical and natural materials at school hobby clubs

The bachelor thesis aims to introduce to the readers the problems of practical works in after-school clubs, their popularity and goals. The theoretical part approaches a general overview of specific practical activities and also explains the environment in which after-school activities take place. The practical part introduces the way of work and the results of a questionnaire which determines the popularity of practical activities of participants in after-school clubs. The conclusion presents the practical works in a positive light because they are able to attract pupils' attention even in the era of technical achievements.

Healing plants from labiate family (Lamiaceae) and their usage in cross subjects relationship between biology and chemistry. The presented diploma work deals with healing plants. It is mainly focused on cross subjects of chemistry and the usage of theory in practical life. Theoretical part of this work consists of an overview of selected races. It's aim is mainly to present substance content of these plants, specific effects and wide usage. The usage of important characteristic features of this family in teaching and proposals how to classify this topic as a learning subject at primary schools and grammar schools is the further content of this work. Practical part is a result of questionnaire research, which should give us some information about how teachers at secondary schools work with this topic in practical lessons. The final outcome of practical part are six practical activities that teachers can use while teaching, mainly at high schools. Further learning material contains four presentations in PowerPoint and six worksheets which relate to laboratory and practical exercises. Final outcome of the work is information about this family set to a compact text and further visions for didactic use in teaching.
